This turns out to be less of an experience than a debacle when his performance is horrible and her dad walks in on them - freaking out and then winding up in the hospital. The fact that she looks as good as she does here doesn't hurt either and while almost all of the sex scenes in both pictures are definitely played with a wink and a nudge, there's some legitimate steam in pretty much all of them thanks in no small part to the leading lady's enthusiasm and gusto.The extras are slim but the presentations of these enjoyable and genuinely 'classic' films are top notch and the movies themselves are here, uncut and in their proper aspect ratio. From here the movie breaks the fourth wall as 'director' Gail Palmer (who probably didn't direct any of this, as Bob Chinn is widely believed to have been behind most of the film's she's credited with helming) chats us up and introduces us to Candy. The films get the Dolby Digital Mono treatment, in English and without any optional language options or subtitles provided. Candy Goes to Hollywood (1979) Bubble-brained Candy Christian travels to Hollywood to make it big and instead gets taken under the wing of a sleazy 'talent agent' bent on exploiting her for his own personal gain. John Leslie is goofy and fun in both movies and Holmes, looking quite healthy here and not drugged out or stoned at all, is pretty hilarious in the first film.

This follow up film begins when Candy (Connors again) hope off the bus in Los Angeles and stroll down Hollywood Boulevard. Both of the Candy films are a blast, poking a lot of self-referential holes in film industries both adult and mainstream. She splits, and on the way home meets a Hare Krishna named Graham Hollander (Paul Thomas) who takes her to his shrine for some one on one time before bringing her to an orgy. including covers, semi-glossy, hardcore pornography magazine featuring graphic, all color photos from the Gail Palmer film, CANDY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD, starring Carol Conners as Candy.The action focuses on Connors' scenes (meeting her agent, Gong Show parody, lesbian strap-on scene with Delania Raffino, sex with 'Johnny Farson', producer Samuel Goldicker) - but also includes scenes with Rhonda Jo Petty, Desiree Cousteau, Sharon Kane, and a climactic orgy scene. Detail is as good as it's going to get on a standard definition offering and there are no noticeable issues with typical authoring quirks like noise reduction or compression artifacts. Carol Connor’s became an instant sensation for her starring role as Candy, in Gail Palmer’s sexy classics. Good movie, very 80s, you can not expect much from a film like this,, Sirpa Lane is an actress of erotic films, a nice body but nothing exceptional savant to a pornographic actress from the body disappears, but the '70s were characterized a small breasts and a simple eroticism.
